1. Determine how the exclusion of knowledge, perspectives, and lived experiences influenced the past success of solving the problem

2. Define what inclusion means for the problem situation and how it will improve problem-solving capacity

3. Draft principles of inclusion for affording equitable participation of researchers and practitioners

4. Identify new problem-solving roles to include in the process and what additional researchers and practitioners to invite to participate
